On 14 October,2007 we predicted that 'Manmohan & Sonia should ride anti- Congress waves wisely'.

After settling the Nuclear-deal, Left and Opposition are after the Congress on 'Essential commodities price wave & Blueline bus wave ' from 15 October, 2007.

AND CONGRESS's HRM ,ANALYSTS & STRATEGISTS ARE SLEEPING COMFORTABLY.

Pal :Any anti-wave may be turned into a pro-wave by proper use of HRM, Analysis & Strategy.

The politicions disregard feedbacks missing Golden Oppurtunities.

Critic : How the HRME friend can help.
Pal :Congress , and rather every political party , needs to build-up to types of images....one, ' A Saviour-of-poor-men Image ' and two, ' A Progress & Economy-Reformer Image '. Every political party concentrates on the second ,but they have failed miserably on the first aspect.
Critic :But these are very difficult jobs.
Pal: Moreover this is the age of advertisement. The party must project itself positively on the above two aspects .Baki to 'Kasme vade pyar wafa sab baten hain baton ka kya .( Rest are -Promises only and unfullfilled promises have no values )'
Critic : Nonsense! Incompetent! Irrelevant ! What is the relevance of the last comment ?
Pal :Elementary my dear Watson ! Leaders/all political parties make lot of promises but the poor man/aam aadmi can,t survive on bare promises.
Mischievous Critic : You and your HRME friend shall never know anything about my body.
Mischievous Pal : We are waiting patiencely.

MANMOHAN AND SONIA SHOULD RIDE ANTI-CONGRESS WAVE WISELY (PAL IS P UZZLED -CASE 2 )

So Anti-Congress Waves are taking heavy tolls on Congress.

GOI/Congress are having vast resources ,HRD Ministry , regiment of IAS and what-not officers and some of the top Management and Business Schools.

Then why.....why??

They are unable to take advantage of good feedbacks.

They fail to take advantage of Analytical Analysis and

take timely action to avert crises.

PAL IS PUZZLED.

(1) ANALYTICAL SOLUTION : Congress should ride the following waves WISELY . DOLKIBICO may be of great help.


* ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES PRICE WAVE : Onion , potato, some vegetables, rice, wheat, pulses and eggs are every man's , particularly poor-man's , food in India. It's price is opposition's most lethal weapon . Onion-wave had once toppled Congress government,

*SEALING WAVE : It had already cost MCD Poll for Congress . Some permanent solution ,giving relief to shopkeepers and RWA , is to be found .

BLUELINE BUS WAVE : Congress failed to solve this problem timely and did not show proper care to nearly hundred victims . This may prove a graveyard for Congress in coming Delhi election.

ANTI-RESERVATION WAVE : Including creamy layers in reservation policy gives an anti-poor image and an impression that policy is only for the leaders and their relatives. Mayawati had already taken the advantage of the same .

SELF-EMPLOYMENT WAVE : Congress had miserably failed in creating a self-employment wave . In fact , all parties have failed in this regard .

Successfully handling of the above waves may strengthen Coongress to handle the Indo-US Nuclear deal successfully .

PAL IS PUZZLED...ARE YOU ALSO(CASE-1) ??GM vs UAW

So GM(General Motors Corp) and UAW (United Auto Workers Union) failed to reach an agreement and UAW decided to go on strike.


PAL IS PUZZLED.....WHY? WHY? WHY???????????


GM have no dearth of resources!


Gm have a Big HRD Department full of management experts and what- not experts.

US have a lot of top Business and Management Schools of the world .

US have lot of Management Gurus and best-sellar writers on EXELLENCE,CONFLICT MANAGEMENT,WIN-WIN TECHNIQUES,SUCCESSFUL NEGOTIATIONS and what-not

Then...why??

ARE YOU ALSO PUZZLED... WHY??
Critic:What do you think?
Pal:*UAW should help GM to increase its ROI and

*GM should fulfill its obligations of job security and health to UAW .

Critic: Easier said than done. Do you know that GM have big Financial Planning Models.

Pal: There is No Finance in Financial Planning Models.

Critic: Who...who says so??

Pal: Stewart C. Myers and Richard A. Brealey and PRINCIPLES OF CORPORATE FINANCE.

Critic: What....what do you mean? GM does not need any Financial Planning Model.

Critic :Large corporations hire these MBAs on top salaries and they are successful .How do you explain this ??

Pal : Large corporations have vast resources and well maintained management practices. No doubt the MBAs are the top intelligent brains because Management Schools' screening & admission tests ensure the same .The MBAs enjoy and just maintain the good practices ,but fail in challanges and change management when the corporation faces troubles and cut-throat competition.

Ctitic :In US , there is no dearth of Anglo-Saxon and Japanese HRD which are full of large voluminous literature. How your this 7Fs Of HRMD , just sixteen pages , is going to help GM and UAW ?

Pal : Large voluminous HRMD books are very good for class-room and board-room discussions.

HRMD decisions are easy to discuss but very difficult to implement.

Critic : Why do you think that Indian HRD will succeed where Anglo-Saxon and Japanese HRD have failed?

Pal :Anglo-Saxon HRMD works where laws favour owners and stakeholders and hire-fire policy.Indian HRMD works where laws favour workers and job security policy . Indian HRMD has to work under most adverse and demanding conditions.

Pal : Some large Indian organisations like Indian Railways , India Posts , TISCO , Mittal Steel , Taj Group Of Hotels , Christian Medical College -Vellore , etc prove positive on 7Fs Of HMRD.
Critic : What d'you call such an investment ? A BLOGGER'S INVESTMENT !
Pal : Accountants call it `SUNK COSTS INVESTMENT '. Financial Managers call it `INTANGIBLE ASSETS INVESTMENT '. I do not know under which category you fall.
Critic : What are the man , material and energy magic-sticks for GM and UAW .
Pal looked thoughtfully at the Critic.
Critic is one of the most beautiful women of the world .
Pal : You have a very beautiful body . But to make any improvement , the doctor needs to know your body just like his body .
Critic : Nonsense ! Incompetent ! Irrelevant ! What is the relevance of this statement ?
Pal : Elementary my dear Watson ! Before discussing the magic-sticks ,the HRME friend needs to know GM and UAW just like his own body .
Mischievous Critic : You..... You and your HRME friend do not know anything about my body .
Mischievous Pal : We would very much like to know .
PUZZLED CRITIC : What...what...what...what.......??????

 

MAN-MATERIAL-ENERGY(A CHILDISH STORY)

You need only Man-Material and Energy for survival and progress.
There was a great Magician who had three magic sticks with him:
Man-stick, Material-stick and Energy-stick with one condition :
He has to waive the sticks WISELY.
He had a good HRME(Human Resource Management Expert) friend to help him.

The Magician was surrounded by hostile men going after his blood.
He waived his Man-stick,
Nothing happened.
He looked to his HRME friend for help.
The HRME winked.
Then the Magician waived his Man-stick WISELY -
The men became his friends and slaves.

The Magician was hungry and thirsty.
He waived his Material-stick,
Nothing happened.
He looked to his HRME friend for help.
The HRME winked.
Then the Magician waived his Material-stick WISELY -
The materials turned into delicious foods and drinks.

The Magicion wanted to travel.
He waived his Energy-stick,
Nothing happened.

The materials turned into luxurious aeroplanes and cars.

CONCLUSION :For survival and progress...

More often all the three sticks simultaneously .
